1.8kg Chicken Portions (Drumsticks and thighs work well)Salt and Pepper
Flour to coat the chicken
125ml Honey
125ml Lemon Juice
30ml Soya Sauce
Sesame Seeds (Optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degreesSeason the chicken with salt and pepper. Roll in flour, shake off excess flour and arrange chicken in a greased baking dish. (Skin side down)
Mix the honey, lemon juice and soya sauce and heat slightly in the microwave. Pour over chicken evenly. (Make more sauce if you like it juicier)
Bake for an hour until golden brown.
Baste every now and again with the pan juices and turn the portions over after half the baking time.
Sprinkle with Sesame Seeds.
Serve on pasta rice.
