Ingredients
18 savoiardi finger biscuits (I think they are called lady fingers in the US)2 tbls caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
600ml thickened cream
250g Marscapone cheese
½ cup creamy liquour (I used Father‘O’Learys Irish Cream - it is really cheap)
1 tablespoon dark chocolate powder
1 cadbury flake chocolate bar
Note: this isn’t a traditional tiramisu, but rather a quick and tasty version that can be whipped up in no time for a simple yet decadent dessert!
Method
Whip cream, vanilla essence & sugar in the speedy chef til thickWhisk through Mascapone until smooth
Pour the liquor into a Clear Mate square 2
Cover the bottom of a Clear Mate Rectangle 2 with cream mixture
Dip the biscuits into the liquor one at a time making sure both sides have touched the liquid
Lay in a straight line on top of the cream
Cover with more cream mixture and repeat with remaining cream and biscuits
Smooth over the top and sprinkle with chocolate powder
Place flake in the turbo chef and chop till fine
Sprinkle over Tiramisu and allow to set for at least 2 hours to soften the biscuits
Note: you can make this kid friendly by omitting the alcohol and making a chocolate mixture by coming 2 tablespoons hot chocolate powder and ½ cup hot water to dip the biscuits in
